"A Christmas Carol" at Rockwall Community Playhouse Showing Now!

So my blogging activity has been of late. So while there are technically tickets on sale for A Christmas Carol at RCP, there aren't many left. We even had to add two shows, one on Thursday, December 7th at 7pm and a matinée on Saturday, December 9th at 2pm. How cool that this show has had so much support and success!

The whole cast non-Dickens'd

In this Shakespearean version of the classic Christmas tale, we have a chorus narrating the story which is a neat addition I personally had never seen before. We also have live musicians!

See? They are really playing!

As you probably know, A Christmas Carol has many interesting characters but I get to play a few that are not commonly included in the story. In the first Act, I play a farmfolk who gets to sing "Here We Come A Wassailing" and a nanny pulling on a child's ear. Lucky kid.

In the second Act, I get to play the Plump Sister as she is referred to even though her name is Miss Rosie, and a maid for Fred the nephew. All in all these are fun parts, even if the Plump Sister is by far the most fun! I'm honored to join Rockwall Community Playhouse for another sweet story for this holiday season!

Here is the party scene where I as the Plump Sister wear a large purple dress with the all important lace tucker
