Greetings, JoyBingers! We never did come up with a good name for you all.

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive over the last couple of years as Sinow and I experimented with the joys (and horrors) of podcasting. We had such a blast looking for stories to talk about and sharing those with you.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that this is the final episode after a solid 6 month hiatus. Not surprising, I know. Things have changed for both Sinow and I and we realized we would not be able to bring you the quality content that we desire. We are both very grateful for JoyBinge and the people we got to meet through this endeavor. And while we may not be making podcasts anymore, we will think of you all and this experience every time we read a story about good people doing good things and emus.

In the podcast episode, I promised I would supply links to the websites I used to find stories so you can find good stories too! Here they are:

News Sources that Only Post Good Stories:

The Guardian - The Upside

GNN

Positive.News

Reddit/UpliftingNews

News Sources that Require a Deep Dive to Find Good Stories:

ABC

BBC

CBS

CNN

Dallas News

FOX

FOX 4 News DFW

Future Crunch: Science, Technology, Good News

NBC

NBC DFW

NPR

The Telegraph

Texas Monthly

USA Today

WFAA

The last six months have been a real test for everybody. Never before have we experienced something globally like this pandemic. And JoyBinge was not there to help shine a light on the positive stories that came out in the middle of the chaos. Believe it or not, those stories were there. I am deeply sorrowed and sorry that we could not provide some hope and joy-binging opportunities during this difficult time.

In the episode, we discussed what's been going on with each of us during the past 6 months. I talked about the loss my family endured, as well as preparing to get married (which happened!). Sinow talked about the wonderful success he has found in streaming which is very exciting! Be sure to check him out at https://twitch.tv/SinowBeats

Thank you for all the support while we were making the podcast and during our long hiatus. We had such a great time trying something so different from our normal day to day work.

Life is chaotic and unpredictable. JoyBinge was truly a joy, something I know I needed at the time and in many ways still need now. But now it's your turn to find your own ways to binge some joy and to spread that joy around to those around you.

Thank you, everyone, for your well wishes, your support, and your time. You have been wonderful and I am eternally grateful to have had JoyBinge. All things must come to an end, but let’s not let the joy of finding cool stories to celebrate end. That needs to keep going, especially now!

If you decide to make your own good news podcast, good news blog, vlog, or anything else, tell us about it! We’ve got an email, joybingepodcast@gmail.com or tweet at us @joybingepodcast or visit our Facebook page and Instagram account. TELL US THE GOOD STUFF!

Keep binging that joy,

Kimmy and Sinow
